Water Supply Information and Forecasts

Central Puget Sound Water Suppliers' Forum The Forum is a cooperative effort of water suppliers and counties to address current and future water supply issues, including water supply planning, environmental stewardship, and other issues currently facing the region with regard to providing water for fish and people. See also, 2001 Central Puget Sound Regional Water Supply Outlook.
Central Puget Sound Regional Water Initiative The Central Puget Sound Initiative (CPSI), created by the Governor's office, is developing a regional water management strategy.
City of Seattle Water Supply Information Seattle Public Utilities supplies water to 1.3 million people and businesses in the region. Nearly all this water is from the 90,000-acre Cedar River Watershed and the 13,300-acre South Fork Tolt River Watershed in eastern King County. This weekly update is intended to provide the latest information on water supply conditions and outlooks.
Lake Tapps Public Water Supply Project On June 30, 2003 the Department of Ecology (Ecology) approved a proposal to help supply the long-range municipal water needs of the Central Puget Sound region, protect salmon and assist ongoing efforts to preserve Lake Tapps.
