Environmental Assessment, and Finding of No Significant Impact
Carnation Sewer Collection and Conveyance System and Wastewater Treatment Facility Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), made available Sept. 20, 2005
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be providing partial funding to the City of Carnation for this project. As a recipient of EPA Special Appropriation Act grant monies, the project is subject to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance (40 CFR Part 6).
EPA has reviewed the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the project, which evaluates the impacts of the proposed project on the human and natural environment. EPA has determined that the proposed project does not meet the criteria for preparing an Environmental Impact Statement under 40 CFR Part 6.107. EPA has prepared a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed project. The EA/FONSI indicates that the proposed project would not have a significant adverse impact on the quality of the human environment.
