Sustainable Products Purchasers
Coalition
The Coalition's primary goal is to aggregate its members' purchasing power
to demonstrate to manufacturers that there is a strong and vocal community
of purchasers that buy sustainable products and are seeking reliable,
standardized environmental data on sustainable products. Through its Web
site, the SPPC will publish the total aggregate purchasing power and create
a forum for members to discuss sustainable products. A current goal is
to develop a new Webtool that would allow users, both manufacturers and
members, to import their LCA data, and generate a table of LCA results
using any and all methods that are available in published form.
