Project Description
Acquisition of approximately 100 acres along one-mile of Rock Creek, including forested and scrub-shrub wetlands, pond habitats and second growth coniferous forest. Addresses significant risk to ecologically healthiest tributary to Cedar River, indirectly supporting core chinook population in WRIA 8. Integrates with past preservation successes on lower Rock Creek and broader community/ King County effort to preserve Rock Creek Valley.
