Why is this Subarea Important to Salmon?
Meadow Creek

Anadromous Salmon and trout access almost all of the Little Bear Creek Subarea. Little Bear Creek is currently the least developed of the three main tributaries to the Sammamish River, and it has the least degraded habitat. The subarea supports runs of chinook, coho, sockeye and coho salmon. A primary concern in the watershed is fish passage, as barriers exist for adult fish at low flows and for juvenile fish at high flows.
