Available Reports:

Analysis Of the Water Quality Data from Various Sites on Little Bear Creek- June 2003 (Acrobat pdf format)
The six sites included here were sampled for different timeframes and for different parameters. The sites and timeframes were grouped according to the type of analysis. Upstream-downstream water quality patterns and seasonal comparisons used 2000-2003 data when comparing 5 sites and 1993-2002 for three sites. Long-term trend analysis used the same timeframe.

Interim Report on Surface Water Monitoring for the Proposed Brightwater Route 9 Wastewater Treatment System- February 2004 (Acrobat pdf format)
This interim report is intended to provide an update of Phase I of the monitoring program and preliminary results of surface waters in and near the proposed Route 9 site. Phase I is designed to collect water volume and flow data, with a minimum amount of preliminary water quality data. This report presents a preliminary analysis of the storm sampling data, and aspects of the monitoring program that will be modified to address water quantity and quality questions regarding the Route 9 site.

The objective of the initial phase monitoring program is to conduct monitoring of surface waters discharging from and flowing near the proposed Brightwater Route 9 Wastewater Treatment site. Water quantity and quality data at the upstream Little Bear Creek site are compared to synoptic samples at the downstream Little Bear Creek site. Differences between the two sites are compared both to each other and to the water quality and quantity data from the waters discharging from the Route 9 site.
