News Release
Exhibit to showcase art, building and product designs that incorporate environmentally sustainable strategies

King County, the City of Seattle, and the Design Resource Institute will present a two-month exhibit titled "Sustainable Connections -- Art, Architecture & Product Design," beginning November 17 in Seattle.

The exhibit, designed to illustrate sustainable connections in environment, community and business, will run through January 15, 2004 at City Space, on the third floor of the Bank of America Tower in Seattle, 701 Fifth Avenue. Public viewing is available Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. An artist reception, set November 20, from 5 to 7 p.m., is open to the public.

Sustainable Connections is a collection of environmental artwork, architecture and product design featuring work from Northwest artists and designers. It will also showcase sustainable strategies from the award-winning King County King Street Center, new City of Seattle buildings, and the 6th International Design Resource Awards. The exhibit also offers a concurrent three-part lecture series scheduled for January 2004.
