1999 King County Community Agriculture Grants The King County Agriculture Commission and King County Department of Natural Resources are pleased to announce the offering of small community grants to promote and enhance agriculture in the county. Proposals are encouraged from farm groups and associations, community organizations, 4-H and FFA clubs, neighborhood groups, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, farmer cooperatives, granges and others. The Agriculture Commission requests that one to two page pre-proposals be sent to Eric Nelson at 201 South Jackson, Suite 600, Seattle, WA. 98104 by October 11, 1999. The Commission will then determine which of the pre-proposals will be offered the opportunity to apply for the limited funding available.
