Caterers dish it up at wedding showcase at Marymoor Park's Clise Mansion

Seattle Bride's 11th-annual wedding open house set for Feb. 11

Prospective brides and grooms are invited to attend Seattle Bride's Wedding Showcase, Feb. 11 at historic Clise Mansion in King County's Marymoor Park. The free event is set for noon to 3 p.m., and no reservations are required.

This event provides an opportunity for couples to not only sample creations from 10 caterers selected by Seattle Bride, but also a chance to tour one of the areas most elegant special-event settings, the Clise Mansion.

"We are delighted to showcase premier caterers from around the region," said Kevin Brown, King County Parks Director. "This event allows visitors to sample great food and tour a wonderful venue for their upcoming special occasions."

The historic Clise Mansion offers facilities for meetings, parties and other events. Surrounded by majestic trees, flowering gardens and lush open lawns, the mansion provides a unique private setting, while the Redmond location ensures convenient access from Seattle and Eastside cities.

The estate features a Great Room, library, veranda, several smaller rooms and a spacious inlaid brick courtyard. The newly renovated East Garden offers a gazebo for outdoor ceremonies, perennial beds and flowering trellises. The East Garden is enclosed and offers privacy for all event attendees.

The Clise Mansion is managed by Premier Properties for King County Parks and Recreation and is located at Marymoor Park, 6046 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy. For more information, visit www.metrokc.gov/parks/rentals/indoor.htm.
