Caterers dish it up at wedding showcase at Marymoor Park's Clise Mansion
Seattle Bride's 11th-annual wedding open house set for Feb. 11
Prospective
brides and grooms are invited to attend Seattle Bride's Wedding
Showcase, Feb. 11 at historic Clise Mansion in King County's Marymoor
Park. The free event is set for noon to 3 p.m., and no reservations
are required.
This event provides an opportunity for couples to not only sample
creations from 10 caterers selected by Seattle Bride, but also a
chance to tour one of the areas most elegant special-event settings,
the Clise Mansion.
"We are delighted to showcase premier caterers from around
the region," said Kevin Brown, King County Parks Director.
"This event allows visitors to sample great food and tour
a wonderful venue for their upcoming special occasions."
The historic Clise Mansion offers facilities for meetings, parties
and other events. Surrounded by majestic trees, flowering gardens
and lush open lawns, the mansion provides a unique private setting,
while the Redmond location ensures convenient access from Seattle
and Eastside cities.
The estate features a Great Room, library, veranda, several smaller
rooms and a spacious inlaid brick courtyard. The newly renovated
East Garden offers a gazebo for outdoor ceremonies, perennial beds
and flowering trellises. The East Garden is enclosed and offers
privacy for all event attendees.
The Clise Mansion is managed by Premier Properties for King County
Parks and Recreation and is located at Marymoor Park, 6046 West
