The fifth-annual Small Farm Expo, a day-long event to provide small
acreage landowners with practical information on a wide range of
farming topics, is set for March 18 at the King County Fairgrounds
in Enumclaw.
Throughout the day, experts will lead sessions on forestry, composting,
small farm equipment, value-added processing, small business management,
and animal care. FarmLink workshops will be available for participants
who are interested in buying or leasing land, along with demonstrations
on biodiesel conversion for tractors, and classes on making wine,
cider and cheese.
The vendor hall will have more than 40 business, agency and organization
booths full of useful resources. Full event programs are now available
