Dear Parks Supporters,

We are pleased to announce that the long-time tension between preservation of agricultural lands and the need for recreational fields has ended with a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the use of Muller Farm and King County’s 60-Acres South park property, near Redmond.

King County, the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association and Lake Washington Technical College have agreed to an agreement that is a “win-win-win.” Find details about the agreement including the “Memorandum of Understanding” and a site map, by visiting the following link on the King County Web site: King County agreement preserves farmland, creates new athletic fields in Sammamish Valley

I invite you to share this information with others.

Sincerely,

Ron Sims
