Come volunteer to help restore fish and wildlife habitat on King County Natural Lands and Parks.

Native Plant Holding Facility
Groups are needed to care for salvaged native trees and shrubs at our holding facility near Sammamish. To schedule a group work party, please contact Cindy Young at

Students needed! Learn about restoring habitat while planting trees and shrubs. Groups of volunteers are needed for restoring habitat along the Green River. Weekdays preferred. 4th grade and up. Contact Greg Rabourn 206-296-1923

Trail work - With the help of our great partnership with Washington Trails Association, King County will be having volunteer work events throughout the year. Come help us repair and maintain our valuable trail system. Learn what it takes to build new trails. .
