Eat Local for Thanksgiving Official Campaign Kick-Off Come and show your support as King County Executive Ron Sims local farmers and the Director of the Pike Place Senior Center who will encourage residents to "Take the Pledge" to Eat Local for Thanksgiving and promote local, seasonal fresh produce grown by area farmers. Lunch at the Senior Center on this day (and on Thanksgiving Day) will feature fruits and vegetables donated by local farms. November 3
