Published since 1991, Downstream News is a newsletter published 2-3 times each year and mailed to interested volunteers, teachers, citizens, community groups, businesses and agency contacts around King County.

The newsletter covers information to help citizens care for land and water resources around King County, such as:

• upcoming volunteer events,
• educational resources,
• funding sources,
• salmon conservation,
• native plants,
• protecting water quality,
• groundwater,
• forestry,
• healthy watersheds.
