Groundwater Stewardship

Meeting with community members to discuss best management practices for conserving and protecting groundwater is another way we can share the value of stewardship to citizens of King County.

The Groundwater Education Program staff can frequently be found at community festivals and fairs such as Redmond Derby Days, Issaquah Salmon Days, North Bend Alpine Days, Vashon Island Strawberry Festival, Renton River Days and the Meridian Elementary Fair.

If you are interested in having a staff member attend your community event or fair, please contact us. Most events are scheduled in advance, however we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

There are so many opportunities to learn more about groundwater stewardship and what you can do to protect and conserve this valuable resource on your own, as a group, or as a community. Visit our Groundwater and You page, with a listing of online resources.

Information presented here is available in alternate formats upon request.
