Blue Team Project (Acrobat, 242 KB)
Sign your class, group or troop up to be a King County Blue Team! Kids get assistance from a King County Water Specialist to complete a groundwater-action project on or near your school grounds. This program is free and administered by Nature Vision, Inc. Only available in the Redmond-Bear Creek Valley Groundwater Management Area.

Pacific Science Center (External Link)
The Pacific Science Center offers group visits and camp-ins at its facility in downtown Seattle. Science programs can also be arranged for your school, community group meeting, or at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center.

This King County program subsidizes transportation for water quality education field trips by providing a free Metro bus for students. (Restrictions apply.)

The Adventures of Little Drip
Audience: Grades 1-5.
A 15-minute animated video that teaches young children about the hydrologic cycle, groundwater terms, how groundwater can be contaminated, and what people can do to conserve and protect our groundwater supply. The video may be purchased or borrowed.
Groundwater: The Flow From Below
Audience: Grade 3 - Adult.
A 20-minute video that describes where groundwater comes from, how it can be contaminated, and how we can protect it. Humorous and upbeat. Two thumbs up! The video may be purchased or borrowed.
Watersheds: H2Ope for the Future
Audience: Grades 4-12.
This local film tells the story of King County's watersheds and the inter connectedness we share with all living things in a watershed - and why it is important to protect our fragile water resources. The half-hour film is ideal for anyone interested in understanding the function and value of our local watersheds. Free to public schools in King County.
Water You Doing? (External Link)
Audience: Middle school and high school students.
This City of Seattle water quality education interactive, educational CD-ROM teaches middle and high school students respect for our local natural water resources. Available for use at all Seattle Public Library branches, and to teachers within Seattle Public Utilities' service area free of charge and to others for a nominal fee.
