Episode One: "A Backyard Makeover in Ravenna"

Synopsis: Doug and Greg makeover a small backyard in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood. They talk with the homeowner about weeds, excess lawn, what's not working and what she would like to see, including the use of low maintenance native plants.

Greg explains techniques for "shrinking a lawn," cutting a new edge, removing old sod and choosing an assortment of appropriate plants. Includes a step-by-step demonstration of how to "sheet mulch.
