Lake Washington South Buoy Data

The RUSS buoy uses a fluorometer to estimate Chlorophyll-a concentrations. Chlorophyll-a is a pigment found in algae and is used as a measure of the algae in the water column. The goal established for the Lake Sammamish Management Plan set the mean summer chlorophyll-a at less than 2.8 mg/L.
