Lakeside Living is a 23-minute video for lakeside homeowners that introduces simple landscaping practices to protect and enhance lake water quality. Lakeside residents and experts from King County, Washington present clear information about how to care for your lawn and garden in a lake-friendly way, with an emphasis on adding plants at the shoreline to filter pollutants, stabilize banks, discourage nuisance waterfowl, and provide diverse wildlife habitat.

Check it out! The video is available through your local King County Library or interlibrary loan.

The video can be purchased for $8.43 and mailed directly to your home, or you can pick it up yourself for $5.44 and save the cost of postage. Phone orders for the video can be placed to the reception desk at (206) 296-6519.
