It's Salmon SEEson!

Fall is here, and salmon are returning to streams and rivers around the Puget Sound. See these natural beauties and be inspired by their seasonal journey home at spots around the Greater Lake Washington Watershed!


Pipers Creek Annual Salmon Return and Festivities

Dates: Weekends November 3 through December 9, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., and Friday November 23rd

salmon in Venema Creek (Carkeek Park)

Come see the yearly salmon run from early-November to early December. Each weekend between 11 and 3 you can find our trained Salmon Stewards by the creek and learn all about the salmon's life cycle and habitat. On November 23rd join us for activities by the creek and for special family activities at the Carkeek Environmental Learning Center. Fun for all ages.
