Project Description
Acquisition of approximately 22 acres of forested riparian floodplain spanning both sides of the Cedar River. Northern portion of floodplain on right bank includes a spring-fed tributary of the Cedar River. Protection of this site not only preserves a crucial of the mainstem of the Cedar River and a small spring-fed tributary, but it would preserve future habitat enhancement opportunities identified in the Cedar River Basin Plan.
