Project Description

  • Located in the Middle Green River Subwatershed
  • Project involves acquisition of up to 110 acres of habitat along the Middle Green River and Lower Newaukum Creek

  • This area is used for spawning and rearing by threatened chinook salmon
  • Adjacent to large tracts of publicly-owned open space
  • Supports future projects carried out through the Green/Duwamish Ecosystem Restoration Project
