Three Ways to Get Involved for the Salmon

1. Volunteer in Your Watershed
You can lend a hand to restore salmon habitat for future generations!

Volunteer at an upcoming restoration project in southern King County!

  • Get involved in planting native plants, tearing out weeds, watering and other activities at a habitat restoration site.
  • You can also help count salmon, monitor water quality, or participate in other volunteer opportunities.
  • Become a watershed steward -- start with our list of resources for new watershed stewards (Adobe Acrobat 177 KB)
  • Visit our general links page to connect with organizations that organize volunteer efforts
  • Investigate the local action map to find out who is involved in stream restoration activities near where you live
