Construction Activities started in 2005. Construction is now underway at the North Creek portal site in Bothell and is starting at the Treatment Plant site. Construction is scheduled to begin at the North Kenmore portal later this summer. King County will work with communities to keep them informed as construction progresses.

System-wide Mitigation for the Brightwater System includes various measures and actions King County will take to reduce the impacts associated with Brightwater facility construction and operation while enhancing the quality of life in local and regional communities
