Past Photos of the Seawall SiteRailroad Avenue, later named Elliott Avenue West, was originally built on trestles. The following two photos, dated May 12, 1913, show Railroad Avenue North looking north from the Seattle Lumber Mill Company and from Bay Street. In both photos, you can see the railroad tracks on the left side of the picture. A seawall was built to the west of the tracks.
