Location of Bellevue Way S.E. Sewer Pipe InstallationBellevue Way Southeast Sewer Pipe Installation -- completed June 2007

To protect public health and the environment, King County Wastewater Treatment Division installed a new 500 foot sewer pipe underneath Bellevue Way Southeast and the access road in Mercer Slough Nature Park east of 113th Avenue Southeast. The new pipe replaces a pipe at the end of its service life that could no longer meet the community's needs. The new pipe improves the regional wastewater system's reliability and capacity.

The project began in mid-April and was completed in June 2007.
