The new pump station, located next to the existing pump station, will increase the pumping capacity from 4.3 million gallons per day (mgd) to 5.5 mgd and be designed to fit in the community.

July 2008 - WTD crews will operate the Hidden Lake Pump Station once it is fully operational and the contractor's final work is complete.

The new pump station building exterior is now complete.

The contractor will finish installing equipment in summer 2008. After about a month of testing, the new pump station will take over operations and the old building will be demolished.

In fall 2008, the contractor will landscape the pump station grounds with mostly native vegetation.

February 2008 - the new pump station is designed to blend in with the residential neighborhood

October 2007 - new pump station takes shape

June 2007 - new pump station foundation under construction

January 2007 - work on the wet well slab continues

The new Hidden Lake Pump Station is being constructed next to the existing pump station, which is more than 40 years old.

The site has been cleared to provide room for construction materials and equipment.

Excavation of the new pump station is complete. Existing station is visible in upper right.

Construction crews begin work on the foundation of the new station.
