Property Acquisition and RelocationRight-of-way and permitting for wastewater treatmentThe Right-of-Way and Permitting Unit of King County's Wastewater Treatment Division is responsible for meeting the real property and permitting needs for all division projects. Its responsibilities includes analyzing site and corridors issues, acquiring real property and easements, managing properties, and providing relocation assistance, when necessary. The unit is also responsible for acquiring land use, construction and environmental permits from local, state and federal agencies for division projects. In planning its facilities, the Wastewater Treatment Division strives to be a good neighbor and has developed an acquisition and relocation process that is fair and equitable. The information in the documents below will help you understand more about the process and how the division works with property owners and tenants to minimize any disruption or inconvenience.
